Three Engagements, Each Defined Before Work Begins
ysseraxxad's service model is built around scope clarity. You know what you are commissioning, what the deliverables are, and what it costs — before you make any commitment.
Back to HomeHow ysseraxxad Structures Its Work
Each engagement at ysseraxxad follows a defined structure: a written engagement letter, a document review phase, one or more working sessions, drafting, internal review, and delivery. The structure varies by engagement type — the Regulatory Posture Engagement has four working sessions and a twelve-week window; the Regulatory Note has a single follow-up call and a two-week window — but the underlying discipline is the same.
We do not begin work until the engagement letter is signed. We do not deliver first drafts as final work. And we do not extend an engagement's scope without a written amendment. These are not bureaucratic precautions; they are the conditions under which careful analytical work can actually be done.
Engagement letter drafted, reviewed, and signed
Document and materials review; confidentiality agreement in place
Working sessions conducted per engagement scope
Written deliverable drafted, reviewed internally, and delivered
Regulatory Posture Engagement
A patient engagement for firms operating in regulated sectors — financial services, healthcare, education, telecommunications — wishing to take stock of where their current practice sits in relation to applicable obligations and the direction in which those obligations are moving. Over ten to twelve weeks we walk through the firm's standing arrangements, identify the matters on which clarity is warranted, and prepare a written posture document with measured suggestions for the year ahead.
- Written posture document with board summary
- Four facilitated working sessions
- Assessment of regulatory direction of travel
- Confidentiality agreement before any materials exchanged
- Primary source citations throughout
Process Overview
Firms that have not conducted a systematic review of their regulatory obligations in the past two years, or that have recently entered a new regulatory perimeter (e.g., following a new product launch, acquisition, or change in supervisory regime).
Firms in regulated sectors that receive a consultation paper from BNM, the Securities Commission, the Ministry of Health, or MCMC and wish to make a substantive submission — but whose in-house teams lack the capacity or specific expertise to draft one without support.
Policy Consultation Response
A focused engagement supporting your firm's response to a public consultation paper from a Malaysian regulator or ministry. We work alongside your legal and policy teams to prepare a measured written submission setting out the firm's position with reasoned argument and sector context. The aim is to contribute usefully to the conversation — not to advance a sectional interest with disregard for it. Six to eight weeks; deliverables include the draft submission and two working sessions.
- Draft submission with reasoned argument and sector context
- Two working sessions with your legal/policy team
- Position anchored in primary regulatory sources
- Revision round after your team's review
Process Overview
Regulatory Note
A short written response to a single regulatory question — for example, the implications of a recently issued guidance note for the firm's existing practice, or the considerations relevant to a particular notification obligation. Roughly fifteen hundred words, delivered within two weeks, with one follow-up call. Useful for compliance leads and general counsel weighing a particular question before committing to longer work.
- ~1,500 word written analysis
- Delivered within two weeks
- One follow-up call to discuss the note
- Suited to a single, well-defined question
Process Overview
Compliance leads and general counsel who face a specific, well-defined regulatory question and need a considered written answer within a short window — before committing to a longer piece of work or making an operational decision that depends on the answer.
